Your Venue: If you already picked a venue you can talk to the staff there to find out if you’ve got a dedicated wedding coordinator. The coordinator there knows what you’ll need to have a successful event and they can help put your mind at ease.
Your Mother: She may not offer support but it’s likely she’s just trying not to step on your toes. Your mom would probably be flattered to help pick out invitations or look at dresses so ask and be surprised how willing she is!
